Kromabatch’s task is to formulate masterbatches intended to improve the mechanical and rheological proprerties of recycled polymers, whose usage has been recently made compulsory in significant percentages (DIRECTIVE (EU) 2018/852 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 30 May 2018 amending Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste)
KROMABATCH, in collaboration with KINGFISHER srl which owns a specific patent, aims to realize masterbatches that can improve recycled polymers’ mechanical and rheological characteristics, providing a valuable tool helping customers comply with the existing and future legislation. After the initial very encouraging results, the industrial tests are at an advanced stage.
